A Few Randoms

On Saturday, Abby Grace went to her friend's, Lainie's, 3rd Birthday Party. It was a mask (aka Mardi Gras) party complete with a colorful cake and lots of yummy kiddo food to eat. The highlight, though, was the dresses. Lainie's mom and grandmother made matching party dresses for each of the girls to wear and then take home as favors. Abby has modeled hers for anybody that will applaud, including Sassy (forced applause), and even had to wear it to church yesterday. Oh, and just an observation: I couldn't help but notice that Abby got more compliments at church on her party dress than she gets on her more expensive dresses...hmph. :)
Abby can't wait for baseball to start. Think this T-shirt will fit by then??Abby has recently found an interest in photography. While she has her own camera, she still tends to migrate toward mine. And as long as she is very careful, which she is, I don't mind. This is just one of her latest photographs. It is so good that I think we should enter it in a contest. HA!

And as an "appetizer" for pictures and stories to come, Abby Grace is going to be an angel in the Christmas play at church this year!!! The first rehearsal is next week!

Halloween

Abby Grace did NOT like touching the "insides" of the pumpkin, but definitely liked the finished product.

This year, Abby was black kitty for Halloween. Here, she is showing off her "titty tail," which turned into more of a dog chasing its tail scenario. Very fun to watch.

Trick or Treat

One of the coaches wives made arrangements for all of the kids to go trick-or-treating at her neighbors' houses following the game on Friday night. Abby had a great time; however, she and another little girl about the same age as her spent a good bit of their time trying to keep up with the big kids. Abby kept yelling, "Go fast, go fast," in an attempt to make her little legs run faster. But being behind the pack worked out okay because they got a little extra attention in the end.
